2 1/2 c. flour
3/4 c. cocoa
1 t. baking soda
1 c. sugar
1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1 c. margarine, soft
2 t. vanilla
2 eggs
5 small rolls of Rolos or a 9 oz. pkg
Cream sugars and margarine. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Stir in dry ingredients. Mix a little extra flour w/ cocoa. Put in palm of hand. Using fingers, shape dough around 1 rolo until you have a little ball. Dip one side in sugar. Put balls on ungreased sheet, sugar side up. Bake 375 deg for 7-10 minutes until cracked. Cool two minutes and remove from sheet. May drizzle tops with a thin mixture of powdered sugar, pinch salt, vanilla, and milk. For Christmas, add red or green food coloring to this drizzle. Let dry. Nice addition to goody plates.
