4 Tbsp. margarine
3-4 cups water
2 diced onions
1 can evaporated milk
5-7 raw potatoes
1 (10 oz) pkg. frozen corn (opt.)
2 cans clams
1/2 pound bacon or ham, diced (opt)
Sauté onions in margarine. Add ham or bacon at this time. If using bacon, be sure to drain off excess fat. Add potatoes, water, and clam juice and boil until potatoes are done, 5-10 minutes. Add clams and boil 5 more minutes. Add canned milk and corn, heat until hot, but do not boil. Serve hot.
