Grandma Brown Swedish Meatballs

Recipe from: Shana Fakkel

If you don't make these yummy Grandma Brown Swedish Meatballs, you are missin' out! We love this for a Sunday dinner. Can be made in the crockpot too and cooked while at church.

Meatballs
1 lb ham (any kind; sometimes I get lunch meat or Jennie O Turkey ham if it is cheaper)
1 lb bulk sausage uncooked (any kind; breakfast kind is fine)
2 cups bread or cracker crumbs
1/2 c. milk
2 T. mustard
1 egg

Sauce
1/2 c. apple cider vinegar
1/2 c. cold water
2 T. cornstarch
1 c. brown sugar
1 T. mustard (not exact, just squeeze some in)

Directions: Cut ham in chunks and whir in blender or food processor (or grate it by hand) until finely chopped. Mix it with rest of ingredients by hand. Form into 2" meatballs. Place in 9x13 baking dish. Pour sauce over. Bake uncovered 350 deg for 1 hour, basting with sauce occasionally. Serve with rice and green veggie.

  2. Yes! This is the recipe I was hoping someone would submit! This is the first recipe that came to mind when we wanted to get all of the recipes together. I remember having them during brown reunions
