Swedish Apple Pie

Recipe from: Shana Fakkel

one of my all-time fall favorites!

12 tart apples:  peeled, cored, sliced
Dough: 3 cubes butter
2 T sugar
2 c. sugar (may mix brown w/ white)
1 t. cinnamon
2 c. flour
2 eggs
1/2 cup chopped walnuts (opt.)

Mix sugar and cinnamon with apples. Spread in bottom of greased 9"x13" dish. Mix dough and use fingers to distribute mixture over apples. Bake 375 deg for 45 minutes. Best served warm with a scoop of Maple Nut or Vanilla ice cream.

Note: Recipe is easily halved and baked in a pie dish for smaller families.
