Recipe from: Bruce Brown
*Original Brown Recipe
Cream together:
1/2 C. shortening
1/2 C. white sugar
1/2 C. peanut butter
1/2 C. brown sugar
Add:
2 tbs. milk
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
Sift together and add:
1 3/4 C. flour
1/2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
Shape dough into balls. Roll in sugar, and place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8-10 minutes at 375 degrees. Do not overbake. Top each with a milk chocolate kiss. Return to oven 3-5 minutes.
A double recipe uses one lb. of chocolate candy kisses.
