1 cup water
1 cup sugar
1 1/2 tsp lemon zest
In a small saucepan combine water,sugar,and lemon zest over medium heat. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally till the sugar has dissolved. Take the pan off the heat and allow the syrup to cool for 20 minutes. Strain before using. IN a blender combine yogurt,basil,lemon syrup,and ice. Blend until smooth and frothy.
