Sea Salted Caramel Milkshake

Recipe From: Laura

This Sea Salted Caramel Milkshake!! mmmmmmm...... JUST WOW!  Kids were begging me to make more so trust me, you'll wanna make a double batch!!πŸ˜‹πŸΉ  Pretty amazing for a "milkshake" to be so healthy-- dairy free, gluten free, and sugar free.  I added a couple of dates at the end and lightly blended so I had bits of 'caramel'  in my milkshake.  Enjoy! :)

1.5 cups filtered water
1/4 cup cashews, soaked for an hour or two
1/2 cup dates, soaked for an hour (make sure to depit & decrown)
2 cups frozen bananas (fresh is fine to use)
1 tablespoon maca powder
1 tablespoon coconut oil
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 teaspoon celtic salt
3 cups ice cubes

Blend water, cashews, and dates until smooth. (This part is important. you blend these separate from the other ingredients).  Then add remaining ingredients, except ice, then blend again. Finally add in the ice cubes & blend. Enjoy!

**I found the original recipe to have more of a banana taste so I added 1/2 c. dates more and that gave it more of the caramel taste I love!   L.W.**
