Crab Dip

Heres a favorite of mine. Its great to take to a potluck & snack on while you chit chat. You can also put it in a crockpot to serve warm.

1 pkg (8 oz) cream cheese
1 c. mayo
1 garlic clove, minced
1 can (14 oz) artichoke hearts in water
1 pkg (8 oz) crabmeat
3/4 c grated parmesan cheese
1/3 c thinly sliced green onions
1 lemon
1/8 tsp pepper
1/3 c red bell pepper
1 (4 oz) can green chilies (optional for spice)

Preheat oven to 350. Mix cream cheese and mayo in bowl. Mince garlic and add to cream cheese mix. Drain artichokes. Chop artichokes and crabmeat. Grate parmesan cheese and slice green onions. Zest lemon to measure 1 tsp zest. Add artichokes, crabmeat, parm. cheese, green onions, lemon zest and pepper to bowl. Mix well. Spoon mixture into 9 in sq dish. Bake 25-30 min. Sprinkle with bell pepper and add any additional green onions. Serve with bread pieces or crackers.
