Recipe from: Shiree Christensen
1 1/2 pounds ground beef
2 16 oz cans of refried beans (I like the new lime flavored kind)
Shredded cheese, I like a mix of Cheddar and Monterey Jack
Sour cream
Guacamole
Salsa - the fresher kind you buy in the deli rather than the saucier stuff
Black Olives, chopped
Chopped Tomatoes (The fresh salsa has chopped tomatoes so this is optional.)
Chopped green onions
I left out most amounts above because it can vary how thick you like your layer to be. Just put what looks good or what you have bought.
In a large skillet, brown ground beef and mix with taco seasoning packet. Drain and set aside to cool to room temperature.
Spread refried beans on bottom. Add cheese on top, then sprinkle beef on top of cheese. Next, carefully add sour cream, then guacamole. Salsa is next on guacamole. Sprinkle another layer of cheese. Then add olives, tomatoes, and green onions on top.
Really is more than seven layers and oh so yummy.
