1 lb hamburger/taco seasoning
2 cans refried beans
2 cans black olives
1 large onion
1-2 large green peppers
shredded cheddar cheese - lots!
1 large bag white or yellow tortilla chips
3 cans (10 oz size) nacho cheese soup
milk
sour cream - enough to top nachos
3-4 large red tomatoes
Chop onion, green pepper, olives and shred cheddar cheese. Put into separate bowls. Set aside. Brown & season hamburger and at the same time warm refried beans and nacho cheese soup on stove. Add milk to nacho cheese soup as indicated on can. Stir constantly. You can melt in some of the cheddar cheese with the refried beans for taste. Spread bag of tortilla chips evenly on 9 X13 pan. Pour 1/2 of the nacho cheese soup over chips. Spoon about 1/2 of hamburger over tortilla chips. Follow with 1/2 of refried beans, then top with 1/2 of olives, onion, green pepper, and cheddar cheese. Repeat layering until all chips are covered and ingredients are used up. Bake warm in oven until cheese is melted. Top with sour cream and tomatoes after taking out of oven. Makes one 9x13.
