Red Robin Gingerbread Shake

If there is one thing that I love about fall, it would definately be going to Red Robin for their Gingerbread shake. They only serve this in the fall/winter time. If you haven't tried one these heavenly shakes, your missing out.
So go to your kitchen and treat yourself to one of the best shakes known to man.
 2 c. water
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. ground ginger
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 c. milk
1 pint good quality vanilla ice cream, softened
Whipped cream (pressurized can)
Gingersnap Cookies
Combine water, sugar, ginger, vanilla extract, & cinnamon in med. saucepan. Bring mixture to boil, then reduce heat & simmer for 15 min. Transfer to covered container & cool to room temp.
Whisk together the milk & ice cream. Add 1/2 c. of ginger syrup, adding more or less to taste, and blend well. Pour into glasses top with graham cracker crumbs. Garnish with whipped cream & gingersnap cookies.
