Apple Sauce Cake

2 1/2 c. sugar

1 c. shortening

3 eggs

2 c. warm apple sauce with 2 tsp baking soda dissolved in it

4 c. flour

1/4 tsp. salt

1  lb. seeded raisins

2 c. nuts

2 tsp. cinnamon

1/4 tsp. cloves

1 tsp. allspice

Bake at 325 for 1 hr.
