Recipe From: Laura
Yeah for summertime!!! But boo to those pesky weeds we start seeing now. Consider this healthy alternative to roundup when you go to spray for noxious weeds. There is a detrimental impact on your health when one uses Roundup which contains the toxic carcinogen glyphosate. This recipe is just as effective at a much lower cost.
1 gallon of vinegar
1 1/2 cups Epsom salts
2 tablespoons dawn dishwashing soap*
Mix, shake & and spray on weeds. If your weeds are just too hearty, try a horticultural vinegar. White vinegar being 5% acetic & horticultural being 20% acetic acid. In reference to recipe, use 2 cups horticultural vinegar instead of the 1 gallon regular vinegar. *Dawn is the preferred soap over other dish soaps for this recipe.
